Andrew is an aqueous geochemist/petrologist who specializes in continental geothermal and submarine hydrothermal processes. He studies water-rock reactions using experimental investigations, theoretical modeling techniques, and chemical and isotopic analyses of natural samples. He completed his Bachelor’s in Geology at the University of Otago in New Zealand, and MS and Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis, in 2016, where he primarily studied samples recovered by the Iceland Deep Drilling Project.
