Anson Antriasian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from UC Berkeley, and after gaining experience in the education, mining, geotechnical, and geothermal industries, he is now completing a Master’s degree in Geophysics at Oregon State University. Anson specializes in thermal petrophysics and in the characterization of the thermal regime of Earth’s crust across scales. His current focus with regard to Yellowstone Lake is determining lakebed petrophysical properties and surveying lake-bottom heatflow.
