Beatriz is an undergraduate student in Oceanography at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande, Brazil, and an intern at the Laboratório de Oceanografia Geologic. She has experience in geological oceanography, marine geophysics, and biological oceanography. Bia is a guest student in Dr. Robert Sohn’s lab at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where she is using ROV videos to develop a GIS database for the lake floor vent sites.
