Peter Scheuermann, originally from Pittsburgh, PA graduated from Carleton College in 2012 with a degree in geology. I am now a second year graduate student in the Earth Sciences Department at the University of Minnesota. I study aqueous geochemistry and am particularly interested in the chemical reactions that occur when natural fluid reach elevated temperature and pressure conditions as they do beneath Yellowstone National Park.
