Geophysicist, Lead PI, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution
Rob is a geophysicist who specializes in the study of volcanic and hydrothermal systems. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Doctoral degree in Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Rob has been a scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since 1999, and he has conducted field work to study hydrothermal vents in the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic Oceans. Rob started working on hydrothermal systems in Yellowstone National Park in 2009.
